1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SubmittalAI ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SubmittalAI is an AI-powered tool that generates candidate submittal documents for recruiters. You provide resume and job description text; the Service returns a formatted submittal. The Service is provided as-is and output quality may vary.

3. Accounts and Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and use the Service for lawful business purposes. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Notify us immediately at support@submittalai.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Plans and Billing

• Free tier: 25 submittals per calendar month, no credit card required.
• Paid plans: Billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Prices are listed on the pricing page.
• Free trials: 7-day free trials for paid plans where offered. You will be charged at the end of the trial unless you cancel.
• Cancellation: You may cancel at any time. Access continues through the end of your billing period. No partial refunds.
• Refunds: Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis. Contact support within 7 days of a charge.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to generate fraudulent, misleading, or defamatory content
• Submit personal data of candidates without their consent
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service's API
• Share account credentials or resell access
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the input content you submit (resumes, job descriptions). You own the output submittals generated for you. SubmittalAI retains ownership of the Service, software, and underlying technology.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OF ANY AI-GENERATED OUTPUT. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR REVIEWING AND EDITING ALL SUBMITTALS BEFORE USE.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SUBMITTALAI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms, with or without notice. You may close your account at any time.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
